Propagation

This Anubias reproduce by Rhizome. The rhizome must be above the substrate; If it is too deep, the rhizome will rot and the plant will die. If you divide one Rhizome into two or three pieces, it will become a new plant. Don’t use short plants for propagation (for example the plant with long 10 cm can be divided into two plants, but the plant with long 2 cm should not be shared). Always make sure that there are at least 3 leaves per serving of the Rhizome to be cut. The rhizome will creep under the substrate and produces new plants, to get the best results from this method you should allow your plants have plenty of space in the aquarium.
